Since we're on the topic of Spamalot's last hurrah, I thought maybe I could post about Clay's last night in the show. If you're good, I just might post a bowtie picture or 2. Until then, enjoy yourselves with these photos from his last night. These came across my desk this morning. Not really sure where they came from. I'm used to playing cameraman, but I didn't that night. (Don't forget to scroll down and see the party pictures from last night. More to post later.)
-It's been made known to me that the photographer from Clay's last night only wants to share the photos of Clay sans wig with fans of her choosing. The photos came to me with tag removed and I thought I'd share them. I am removing them per her request. Sorry for sharing the great pictures with the rest of you and for the inconvenience.

Since fans are waiting with bated breath for any picture of Clay and Reed I would say everyone in that group is guilty of invasion of privacy. Too many people point fingers and yet still salivate over the latest information and photos wherever they appear.

ReplyDeleteOther than that, I do not understand the point of this blog. As an "insider monkey", have you been asked by Clay to start this blog as he ended his run on Broadway and goes on vacation? So that Claymates are kept "on a leash", and have some crumbs to feed on? Is Clay himself too busy "being himself" (read - dating men), to throw a crumb to his fans in person?
Why would anyone assume Clay has anything to do with this blog?

I can't believe you wouldn't have shared them with all the fans. That's very selfish IMO.
As taking pictures is illegal I believe, why wouldn't these be past on in a more secret way? Why would the person want to expose herself to potential legal problems? They will get around anyway eventually, just on on the open boards--until the blogger decided she didn't care if a fan were t risk.
ReplyDeleteI know we all like pictures of Clay, but if you don't own them you are NOT intitaled to see them. Any pictures shared are at, or SHOULD be at, thethe descretion of the owner. Fans need to back up a bit and not feel entitled to anything Clay, and just feel grateful we get so much already--far more than most fans of other people.
Rather than being demanding, be grateful.
There aren't going to be any legal problems from 2 pictures of Clay taking his final bow - get serious. There were people all over the theatre snapping shots & even filming & security did nothing! As someone who's been busy the last couple of days & missed the pics, I think it's incredibly selfish of the photographer to allow only certain fans of her choosing to get to see them. I've always shared all my pics & vids, so to deny us a shot that everyone in the fandom is dying to see is just elitist. This has always been a fandom that shared such wonderful moments.
