#1- I DID NOT and DO NOT steal pictures.
How would it have been possible for me to "steal" these pictures so quickly? Do not make assumptions. Just because someone claims that those are their pictures doesn't make it so. Anybody who wants to stir up trouble could say that. I may not have taken all of the photos myself, but none of these pictures are stolen. The 2 from Clay's last night I said came from elsewhere.
#2-My Motives
I do not have ulterior motives. I just have thoughts and ideas. This blog was started all in fun. All I wanted to do was share some unbiased information and knowledge with people who might be interested. Other fans write blogs to talk about Clay, so why not another one? The more the merrier I say! I'm not trying to pull one over on anybody, I'm just trying to have fun. Knowing that Clay was finishing his run in Spamalot and that I had pictures and information that people might be interested in, I figured "why not blog?". Occasionally, I try my hand at comedy, but lately it looks like I shouldn't quit my day job.
#3-Questions
I see that people are asking a lot of questions about various things in the comments. If I'm not answering them right away, it may be because I plan on blogging at a later date to answer your question. So..if you've asked a question and I haven't gotten to you just yet, I'm not ignoring you.
Also, The main intention of this blog was not just to post pictures. It just so happened that with the closing of Spamalot, I had the ability to post at a time when I thought people would enjoy them most. For those interested, I plan on blogging about other shows as well. Another thing is that some of you may feel that I'm being rude. That's really just my sense of humor. For example: a guy that shits his pants every night, obviously referring to Sir Robin, is not in ANY WAY a slam to Clay. I was just trying out my hand at blog humor and it backfired. I'm sorry if that offended anyone due to miscommunication. Please know that anything of that tone said in this blog is for HUMOROUS PURPOSES. Thanks for reading!

ReplyDeleteI think the fan boards are reacting the way they are is because you gotta admit the last couple of years haven't been the easiest to deal with in terms of certain bloggers, certain fan scandals, etc. JMO, but I think fans are still a bit skittish. With every drought also, we know that we tend to be a bit grouchy too.
Don't worry...just keep on doing what you're doing. I for one, look forward to hearing about other shows and whatever it is you want to discuss.
Please do your thing and do not concern yourself with all the fans who can't just enjoy and have fun with this. The pictures are great. Thanks for sharing and I don't really care who you are or how you got these. I'm just glad that you are sharing them.

And people wonder why Clay's fans have such a bad reputation.....hello? Most of us are pretty normal, unfortunately, the overly vocal ones make us all look bad.

I was talking about something real that I decided not to say out of respect for the mother who isn't very far along in her pregnancy. I'm new to this whole blogging thing and had no clue how much attention it was going to get so I had to rethink some things before I posted them.
Did she post the afterparty pics at OFC?

Regarding posting pictures at the OFC, they have a terms of use that says any pictures posted there can be considered as property of Clay Aiken, OFC, TC...or whatever. Many photogs do not allow their pictures there for that reason.

Clay will most likely return to New York this year, but I don't imagine it to be on a semi-permanent basis.

What's really pissing them off is you have info they don't. They belive they own Clay, therefore no one else is entitled to a blog, or even an opinion regarding him.

Yes, those people do exist, but they are in the minority. I see you have the haters in here already making accusations against his fans. Whoever posted about the fans salivating over the hope that pics of Clay and Reed will surface, I really, truly hope they don't. For all the privacy concerns these people have, it's mind boggling that some wish to see pictures of them on their private time.

Some thought he/she was a troll, thought it could be Jaymes or someone in the inner circle. Regardless of who "Jim" really is, he/she caused quite a commotion.

They are not ruining things - they just see all sorts of ginormous gaping holes in this alleged "fun" blog. Pictures lifted from assorted Facebook accounts and presented as if they were IM's. Fanspeak - as someone noted above. Hints about future baby news. All fan-based shit and intrigue. So if we are not drinking the kool aid and believing this person is not a fan well-versed in such things, we are petty and mean? No. We are just a lot wiser than a lot of those hanging on IM's every word.
I ain't buying it - and that does not make me petty and mean. Skeptical & cynical, yes.
And I have no desire to be "one of the select few who know things". Never have been. Never will be. So pffffft to that.
