Despite Your Pretty Lights

For anyone who thinks that I'm playing sides, you can do the same thing she's doing (kissing that fish). This is an UNBIASED blog. I post MY FEELINGS on situations throughout the fandom. If there's any situation that anyone would like me to comment on or if anyone has a problem with the things I've posted here, let me know.

51 comments:

  1. Interesting pictures. Whoever you are, you might even be funny. I have too many questions. I'll check back and see what you have to say.

  2. I found myself searching the picture of the girls for Clay. Like "Where's Waldo?"

    ReplyDelete
  3. Just so you know, not everyone gets involved in the insanity. Most mind their own business.

    ReplyDelete
  4. I'm not trying to get involved in anything. I consider myself somewhat of an informant. I am in no way a protector and for those of you saying that I'm affiliated with HD or that this is her blog, guess again. This blog is more likely to be owned by Samuel L. Jackson.

When it comes to Broadway, I'm on the inside. I've got plenty of pictures as well as inside information. Everything will unfold shortly. I even have a little scoop on the FBM situation that I'll be posting very soon.

  5. I'm not interested in another blog that rags on Clay Aiken. There has been more than enough of that.

  6. This blog isn't ragging on Clay Aiken! Where do you get that idea??

Honey, I'm not ragging on Clay. I was only trying to be humorous. I consider myself to be full of snark, just like him. If you don't have a sense of humor, perhaps this blog isn't for you. Thanks for reading all the same though.

Whichever Anonymous posted this, thanks for realizing that and being able to laugh! :)

  9. Oh great. Another "insider."
    Just what this fandom needs.

  10. Oh great. Another person without a brain. Just wanted to say, here at IAH we require people to have a fully functioning brain before posting. If you don't like it, you don't have to read. Also, no brain = no opinion. Thanks for stopping by though.

  11. Am I the only one that is not quite getting you blog? What are you trying to do? Is it just for the in crowd and the rest of us are just too short that your commentary will never hit us squarely as it flies miles above our heads?

Forgive me, but are you too timid to aim at your intended target, in a light-hearted way of course, instead settling for what is supposed to be a humorous take on the fans which doesn't quite hit the mark?

For me there really isn't much "there" there (here) and I am left want much more content than a few un-captioned pictures.

  12. Exactly what is it you're here searching for? Help me help you, whichever Anon you may be..

  13. For whoever posted it, I don't build bridges to the 21st century. The Clintons already did that. This is NOT JP. I'd personally tell that asshole off if I could. Yes ladies, I have eyes and ears everywhere. Keep talking. I'll keep posting. It seems to be a mutual love/hate thing. I'm not here to fight, but I am glad that you're getting a laugh at my expense.

  14. Also, not looking for hits, but whoever referred to the blog as Carol Burnett-ish. Thanks a bunch. I'm eartuggin' right back atcha!

  15. Clay doesn't need any more negative attention. I'm not sure what this is about but I don't see how this is helpful to anyone.

You didn't have to come here. No one forced you to open a new window, sweetheart. I don't consider this negative. It's a public blog. That's all it is. I'll continue to post funny things at my leisure. Thanks for reading.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Also, what exactly about this is negative? Clay Aiken is a wonderful performer. With him coming to Broadway, I feel that a lot of people have a new found respect for him, including myself even though I had already respected him in the first place.

The joke about OMWH was a jab at the record label and certainly not Clay. I dust my blogs with snark hoping to get a laugh. That's what I do. That's my thing. Any other questions?

  18. You're trying too hard, sweetheart.

  19. Oh so I have to be a sour, uptight person with a stick up my ass? Forgive me for being naturally nice. I'm not trying to impress anyone. I have a hard enough time just trying to impress myself.

  20. 2008 went by us fairly quickly. Not much happened, unless you count what RCA likes to call an album aka On My Way Here
    ---------------------------------------

Can you explain how that was a joke about RCA and not Clay?

    ReplyDelete
  21. RCA hasn't exactly done the best in selecting songs for Clay in the past. I personally love the album. I own several copies. However, what ticks me off is how they give him limited creative freedom and then force the man to mask it as if it were his own idea.

Yes it was the first album of original music since 2003 and what did they do? RCA didn't do squat. They didn't promote anything. Sure, Clay seemed like he didn't care. Who would in his position? He had a baby on the way and more important things to worry about than an album. He acted the way any expectant father would and I applaud him for it.

In a matter of words regarding RCA: They OWN him.

    ReplyDelete
  22. This just might be a good idea after all.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Thank you. I want you all to know that I'm not a bad guy. If I was and I was out to hurt people or thought that this blog would be negative in any kind of way, I wouldn't have started it. I'm not that kind of person. I'm very laidback and easy going. I hope that I can entertain you all for a little while. The best is yet to come. I promise you that. :)

    ReplyDelete
  24. Thank You! It's about time.

    ReplyDelete
  25. Dare I ask? I hope I'm not being forward, but...High five? :)

    ReplyDelete
  26. YES! Maybe if I behave I could get a double high five? I promise I won't to that "Up high. Down low. Too slow." thing, no matter how tempted I would be.

    ReplyDelete
  27. Change "to" to "do". I'm having some technical difficulties in my brain. My nanochip malfunctioned and I had to change frequencies. I hate doing that. It messes my hair all up.

    ReplyDelete
  28. I posted above that not everyone causes trouble in the fandom, that most mind their own business. I didn't mean you I meant the fans. Lots lurk and stay out of trouble.

    ReplyDelete
  29. Oh, sorry if I misunderstood then. :) Want to hug it out? I promise I don't have cooties. AND! I don't smell like some people and that's a bonus right?

    ReplyDelete
  30. Big hugs, I never got any.

Honey, if you're not Reed, then you're just another Claymate, and if you are Reed then you may be just another Claymate too.

We have suspected all along that RCA OWNS him, but don't you think a few terrible decisions on his part made him that indentured servant.

What exactly again are you going to tell the truth about? Don't you think a few of us have our own understanding of the truth? Rule One: People, fans, who spend a lot of money don't want to be lied to and then blamed for not figuring out they've been lied to. Rule Two: If you have have skirted the truth for whatever reason you may believe is good and noble a little humility about doing that might be in order, in fact a better explanation of why and what it felt like to go through all of that may be in order, or is that what you are supposed to be doing here?

  32. Free hugs are great: 1. Hugs are snuggly and warmer when you're in one (yes...partial lyric stealing. I'll mail the songwriter/performers 25 cents in the mail to cover royalties) and 2. they're FREE!

I don't know if you've seen this, but go to youtube and search "Free Hugs". It's really neat.

    ReplyDelete
  33. Thanks for the hugs, BTW I'm a nice Anonymous. The Aiken called me "easy". I wish. You better be strong you are going to be hit pretty hard on here. Good luck.

    ReplyDelete
  34. I saw that Free Hugs thing! It's pretty cool.. it's been sort of a phenomenon from what I understand...

    ReplyDelete
  35. Thanks. Hey Nice Anon, maybe you should make a login so I can tell who's who. You seem pretty easygoing. Glad to have you on board...urm..the blog. Thanks for being here and reading.

You'd be correct. I saw that once and thought it was the neatest thing. Maybe it could be a Bubel/Aiken fundraiser in the making. Hug Clay for Charity anyone?

Well not the one searching, but what exactly are you here to do that you should want to help us?

    ReplyDelete
  38. I have no agenda. Nope, I'm not on a mission of any kind. I just voice my opinion on the issues. I thought it would be nice to have a place that doesn't hate on everyone for a change and instead of waiting around for someone else, I wanted to do it myself.

    ReplyDelete
  39. In other words, Anon, I don't sling mud. I like to see myself as someone who enjoys helping cleaning it up. I'm not a maid of any kind, but at times, I like to think I'm a peacemaker.

    ReplyDelete
  40. I must be pretty stupid because I can't figure out how to post without using Anonymous. Well anyway when there are alot of Anonymous it does get confusing but it can be darn funny too.

    ReplyDelete
  41. Haha! You'd be right about that. If you go up to the top you can actually create an account or if you set up a gmail account (for free) you can use that same username to post with.

What? That made zero sense and believe me I know sense. By the way, last time I checked I am Reed Kelly and I'm sexy as hell. haha. NEXT!

  43. So far I like what I see. I hope there isn't a sudden negative zing pertaining to Clay or the fans. You've must have nerves of steel to start this blog up. lol I'll be watching with much interest. So far big hugs.

Rudeness on my blog will not be tolerated. That's why I chose to delete it. If you want to hate, go somewhere else. That's not what this blog is here for. I may delete my posts, but at least I don't hide behind "Anonymous".

  48. I don't think you are Reed, you know way to much about the Clay fandom. But it is interesting just the same.
